Conductor, Musicologist, Board Member (retired Chartered Member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors), Educationalist, Arts Administrator, Consultant, Broadcaster, . . . these seem quite diverse roles. For me, however, they combine into a coherent whole. My lifelong commitment to the arts and education is driven by a sense of their importance for the well-being of our society.
